FSU Activities for Life Offering Youth Swimming Lessons

Activities for Life at Frostburg State University will offer two sessions of infant and preschool swim time (3 months to 3 years), as well as youth swimming lessons for ages 4 to 13, Mondays and Wednesdays in the Cordts Physical Education Center swimming pool. Session 1 will take place from March 23 to April 8 and Session 2 from April 13 to 29.

The infant and preschool swim time will be held from 5:30 to 6 p.m. Parents are required to accompany their children in the water during these lessons. Because of the skills development of this age group, this is not a formal swim class. Parents and children will participate in water exploration activities with the objective of having fun and becoming comfortable in, on and around the water.

The youth swimming classes will be from 6 to 6:50 p.m. Youth swimming instruction is separated into skill levels based on the child's swimming ability coming into class.
