FSU Student Wheeler to Perform Junior Piano Recital

Frostburg State University student Erin Wheeler will perform her junior piano recital on Friday, April 30, at 8 p.m. in the Pealer Recital Hall of FSU's Performing Arts Center. This event is free and open to the public.

Wheeler will perform several pieces written by composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Felix Mendelssohn, Fanny Hensel Mendelssohn, Aaron Copland and Aram Khachaturian.

A piano performance major with a minor in chemistry at FSU, Wheeler plans to attend dental school upon graduation. She is a member of Delta Omicron, Friends of Music at Frostburg, Phi Eta Sigma Freshman Honor Society and is on the Dean's List. She expects to complete her degree in May 2011 and is the daughter of Joseph and Mary Wheeler of Waldorf, Md.
