Faust Voted to ECAC All-Star Team

Glen Allen, Va. ... Frostburg State's Kim Faust (Ambler, Pa./Upper Dublin) was named to the inaugural Eastern College Athletic Conference Division III Field Hockey First Team in a vote by ECAC Division III coaches.

Faust, the lone sophomore to be voted to the 12-member first team, set a Bobcat single-season record with 22 goals and added eight assists for a team-high 52 points, helping Frostburg State to an 11-7 overall record and its second straight ECAC Championship appearance. She scored the game-winning goal in Frostburg State's 2-1 first-round win over Swarthmore, giving the Bobcats their third-ever postseason victory and their first since 1987.

Faust, who also earned Astro Turf/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division III South Region All-America honors, finished third in the nation among Division III players with 2.88 points per game, tied for fourth in both points (52) and goals per game (1.22) and finished tied for fifth with 22 goals.
